36 <br /> <br />Nursing Home <br />Administrator <br />Nominee <br />09/30/2025 Vacant since 11/02/2023 <br /> 1 <br /> Tara May introduced the item. 2 <br /> The Board agreed by consensus to reappoint the recommended individuals. 3 <br /> 4 <br />Agricultural Preservation Board – Appointments Discussion 5 <br />The Board discussed appointments to the Agricultural Preservation Board. 6 <br /> 7 <br />BACKGROUND: The Agricultural Preservation Board is charged with promoting the economic 8 <br />and cultural importance of agriculture in the County and encouraging the voluntary preservation 9 <br />and protection of farmland for future production. It administers the County’s Voluntary Farmland 10 <br />Protection Program ordinance and advises the Board of County Commissioners on a wide range 11 <br />of agricultural topics. 12 <br /> 13 <br />The Board of County Commissioners appoints all fifteen (15) members, including eight (8) At-14 <br />Large members, and one (1) member from each of the seven (7) Agricultural Districts in the 15 <br />County. 16 <br /> 17 <br />NOTE: Section 48-5.
