Telephone Number <br />919-732-2201 <br />Agency's Purpose/Mission Statement <br />The mission of the Historical Foundation of Hillsborough and Orange County <br />and the Orange County <br />Historical Museum is to enlighten and engage our community and visitors from <br />around the world by preserving and interpreting the history of Orange County. <br />Brief description of your organization’s past achievements <br />Since reopening in 2020 after an extended closure, OCHM has been rapidly <br />growing. We have moved from all part time staff to having two full time staff <br />members, allowing us to increase the hours we are open to the public. We have <br />seen significant growth in the total number of individuals served, from 1,828 in <br />FY20-21 to 4,574 in FY23-24.
