23 <br /> 1 The County Manager is requesting feedback on this composition in general, the <br /> 2 appointment of three (3) Commissioner representatives, and a discussion of whether and <br /> 3 how community representatives from District 1 and District 2 could be selected and <br /> 4 appointed. One (1) of the three (3) Commissioners will also need to be appointed to serve <br /> 5 as Chair of the Work Group. <br /> 6 • Roles <br /> 7 The roles of the Work Group will be partially driven by the timeline to begin and finalize <br /> 8 the work. For example, if the Work Group is asked to review the scope of services for <br /> 9 consulting services and participate in vendor selection, the actual study would not begin <br /> 10 for several months. As a core role for the Work Group, the County Manager is <br /> 11 recommending that the Work Group provide feedback to the consultant at milestone <br /> 12 stages of the project: data gathering, data analysis, alternatives analysis, recommendation <br /> 13 development, and the finalization of recommendations. <br /> 14 Timeline <br /> 15 The timeline for this evaluation will depend on the ultimate scope of work and availability <br /> 16 of data.
