If you are disabled and need assistance, contact the ADA Coordinator at extension 2300 or TDD# 644- <br />3045. <br />ESTIMATED TIMES LISTED AFTER EACH ITEM - these are approximate times. Citizens are encouraged to be <br />at the meeting at 7:30. The Board usually considers items in the order listed and proceeds at a steady pace. As a <br />courtesy to others, speakers are asked to limit their comments to three minutes. <br />BACKGROUND INFORMATION ON AGENDA ITEMS - is available in the Clerk's office and complete copies of <br />agenda material are located at the Orange County Library in Hillsborough and the Chapel Hill Library in Chapel Hill. <br />1. ADDITIONS OR CHANGES TO THE AGENDA (7:00-7:35) <br />PUBLIC CHARGE <br />The Board of Commissioners pledges to the citizens of Orange County its respect. The Board asks its <br />citizens to conduct themselves in a respectful, courteous manner, both with the Board and with fellow <br />citizens. At any time should any member of the Board or any citizen fail to observe this public charge, the <br />Chair will ask the offending person to leave the meeting until that individual regains personal control. Should <br />decorum fail to be restored, the Chair will recess the meeting until such time that a genuine commitment to <br />this public charge is observed. <br />2. CITIZEN & AUDIENCE COMMENTS (7:35-7:45) <br />a. Matters not on the Printed Agenda <br />T. COUNTY MANAGER'S REPORT (8:00-8:10) <br />5. RESOLUTIONS/PROCLAMATIONS (8:10-8:40) <br />a1. Tuscany Ridge- Resolution of Approval Condition Amendment <br />The Board will consider amending a condition in the resolution of approval for the preliminary plan of <br />the proposed Tuscany Ridge subdivision concerning the paving of Arthur Minnis Road. <br />a2. Arthur Minnis Road Status Report <br />The Board will receive a report on issues pertaining to paving Arthur Minnis Road, SR 1115, and <br />consider requesting that the N.C. Department of Transportation place Arthur Minnis Road in its 2003-2004 <br />secondary road improvement program. <br />b. Human Relations Month Proclamation <br />The Board will consider designating the month of February as Human Relations Month. <br />C. Resolution of Support of "Eno Wilderness" Project <br />The Board will consider a resolution of support for the conservation of the "Eno Wilderness," a project <br />by the N.C. Office of State Parks and the Eno River Association to acquire 815 acres of identified national heritage <br />lands in eastern Orange County. <br />6. SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS <br />7.
