Using comments from these meetings, ERCD and Recreation and Parks staff have met to
review the timing and available resources for each of the projects, both individually and as
a comprehensive set. Staff has evaluated the projects based on the status and
"readiness" of the project, and the available resources (financial and staff) using the CIP
and the adopted Bond and Alternative Financing Schedule. As such, the Park Summary
(or Action) Sheets have been updated, and the project timetables revised in accordance
with these factors. One new item has been added, staff suggestions for the sequence of
activity for the park projects (with available resources in mind). A map of each planned
facility is also provided.
The following table illustrates the status of the different park projects, which fall into three
categories.
Park Project
New County Projects Recommended Action
Efland-Cheeks Park (II) Staff proposes committee review of 1996 concept plan
and recommendations on phase II facilities, beginning
in March 2003"
Cedar Grove Park Staff proposes concept plan process begin May 2003`
Fairview Park Staff proposes that joint County/Town Master Plan
process begin, after completion of Memorandum of
Understanding with Town of Hillsborough and receipt
of site evaluation (potentially.
