Year-to - Date Budget <br /> Summary FY 2024-25 <br /> PURPOSE : To approve budget , grant , and capital project ordinance amendments for Fiscal Year <br /> 2025 -26 and FY 2024-25 . <br /> BACKGROUND : <br /> Note : The term " Deferred Revenues " used in several of the items listed below are also known as <br /> unearned revenue or prepayments and refers to revenue received in FY 2024 -25 in advance of <br /> FY 2025 -26 . Deferred revenue is reserved and accounted for on the County' s balance sheet as <br /> a liability to avoid expenditure in FY 2024 -25 . At the start of FY 2025 -26 , the deferred revenue is <br /> then recognized on the income statement as revenue . <br /> Fiscal Year 2025 -26 Budget Amendment #2 ( ORD -2025- 026 ) <br /> Criminal Justice Resource Department <br /> 1 .
