In fall 2025, 1 will transition into an <br /> intern role with TABLE. I recently finished the school year as the Extended Day Lead <br /> Teacher at The Morningside School in Carrboro, NC and as a Teacher s Assistant at <br /> Chapel Hill Early School. I am also a dance teacher with Dance Collaborative, which <br /> operates out of the Chapel Hill YMCA and seeks to provide arts access for children of all <br /> backgrounds. <br /> At UNC, I am on the Executive Board for Blank Canvas Dance Company, one of the <br /> largest student-run organizations on campus, and a member of the Sources of Strength <br /> Club, which advocates for student mental health resources on campus. <br /> Past Service on Orange County Advisory Boards: <br /> I have not served on an Orange County Advisory Board before, but I am eager about the <br /> opportunity. <br /> Boards/Commissions applied for: <br /> Arts Commission <br /> Please explain how your background, education and experience is relevant to this board <br /> I have been passionate about the arts throughout my life, beginning dance at age three. Over <br /> the years, I ve gained diverse experience in the field, including teaching dance, touring with a <br /> traveling company, and choreographing over fifteen original pieces. <br /> As the former Vice President of Blank Canvas Dance Company at UNC, I worked to expand <br /> arts access on campus. Blank Canvas is unique in that it welcomes dancers of all backgrounds <br /> and skill levels, fostering a positive environment where members can grow and learn. During <br /> my time on the Executive Board, I helped increase membership from around 175 to over 300 <br /> members.
