38 <br /> RES-2025-043 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING <br /> THE ORANGE COUNTY FY 2025-2026 HOME PROGRAM DESIGN <br /> BE IT RESOLVED, by the Orange County Board of Commissioners, as a member of the <br /> Orange County HOME Consortium, that the Commissioners approve the following activities for <br /> the FY 2025-2026 HOME Program: <br /> Home Repair and Rehabilitation <br /> Funds will be allocated to Orange County Housing Department to administer repairs and <br /> rehabilitations of qualifying homes. Households earning less than fifty percent(50%) of the area <br /> median income will be eligible. <br /> $147,628.00 <br /> Tenant Based Rental Assistance <br /> Additional funds will be allocated to the Orange County Partnership to End Homelessness for <br /> Tenant Based Rental Assistance for fifteen (15) households at or below thirty percent (30%) of <br /> the area median income. <br /> $147,628.00 <br /> Community Housing Development Organization Set-Aside <br /> Additional funds will be allocated to EMPOWERment, Inc. for an acquisition, development, or <br /> rehabilitation project that fulfills HOME program eligibility requirements. <br /> $56,395.70 <br /> Program Administration $37,593.97 <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the County Manager is hereby designated as the <br /> authorized representative of the County to act in connection with the HOME Program and to <br /> provide such additional information as may be required by the U.S. Department of Housing and <br /> Urban Development. <br /> This is the 21 st day of May, 2024. <br /> Jamezetta Bedford, Chair <br /> Orange County Board of Commissioners <br /> SEAL <br />
