Based on the information provided, I <br /> offer the following comments. <br /> General: <br /> The proposed project consists of expansion of the existing school with construction of a <br /> new upper school building and increase in a maximum student population to a total of <br /> 503 by 2027. The lower and middle schools will continue to utilize the existing site <br /> driveway located on Friends School Road. The upper school will utilize the existing site <br /> access on Mount Sinai Road with appropriate upgrades. Anticipated trip generation for <br /> the school was calculated using the MSTA"School Traffic Calculator". The school is <br /> expected to generate approximately 1100 daily trips with high-demand internal queues at <br /> the lower/middle school and upper school of 1558' and 1072'respectively at design <br /> student capacity. If the school is projected to accommodate a higher number of students <br /> or other changed conditions such as altered bell schedules, then further review will be <br /> required.
