12 <br /> Educational and Accessory Uses <br /> The core mission and use of the CFS campus will remain unchanged. CFS will continue to <br /> offer a dynamic educational experience through regular school programs, summer camps, <br /> athletic competitions, and community events. New facilities will support this mission by <br /> enhancing our outdoor learning spaces, which play a vital role in our holistic approach to <br /> education, offering hands-on experiences in nature and sustainability studies. <br /> We will continue to cultivate our community and partner school use, particularly for <br /> environmental and experiential education programs and the school's Performing Arts Center <br /> will continue to accommodate school and community arts performances. <br /> Conclusion <br /> Carolina Friends School is committed to maintaining its deep connection to Quaker values— <br /> simplicity, stewardship, and respect for the natural environment. This re-zoning not only <br /> aligns with those values but also offers exciting opportunities for growth in environmental <br /> education, sustainability practices, and community engagement. By expanding our facilities <br /> and outdoor learning spaces, we can enhance our students' educational experience while <br /> continuing to serve as responsible stewards of our land. <br /> This planned re-zoning ensures minimal disruption to the environment, preserves critical <br /> natural habitats, and supports the long-term goals of the school and its community. We <br /> respectfully seek approval for this re-zoning to allow Carolina Friends School to continue <br /> providing an exceptional, values-driven education in an environment that reflects our profound <br /> respect for the land and the natural world. <br />
