RESOLUTION <br />M <br />Authorize Orange County to contribute $200,000 to the purchase of the 43 acre tract of <br />land owned by Duke University and located in both Durham and Orange Counties, Orange <br />County's contribution is subject to each of the conditions contained in the Orange County <br />Position Statement on Participation in Joint New Hope Open Space Project, dated March 31, <br />2005, amended April 7, 2005, a copy of which is attached to this Resolution. <br />Authorize Durham County, pursuant to N.C. Gen. Stat, § 153A -15, to acquire the portion <br />of the 43 acre tract that is located in Orange County. <br />Commissioner moved passage of the immediately foregoing Resolution, <br />and Commissioner seconded the motion, and the Resolution was passed by the <br />following vote: <br />ATTEST: <br />Donna S.
