FY 2027 Public Hearing Record <br /> PURPOSE: To: <br /> 1. Conduct a public hearing on the 5311 Administrative, 5310 Operating, and 5339 <br /> Combined Capital grant applications for FY 2027; <br /> 2. Approve the 5311 Administrative, 5310 Operating, and 5339 Combined Capital grant <br /> applications for FY 2027; and <br /> 3. Approve the FY 2027 Program Resolution (Attachment 1), and FY 2027 Local Share <br /> Certification (Attachment 2). <br /> BACKGROUND: Each year, the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) <br /> Integrated Mobility Division (IMD) accepts requests for capital, operations, and administrative <br /> needs for county-operated transit programs. Additionally, the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) <br /> awards operating and capital funding directly to eligible recipients to assist with eligible operating <br /> expenses, replace, rehabilitate, and purchase buses and related equipment, as well as construct <br /> bus-related facilities.
