Studies of <br />ground-water supplies and potential for contamination for the U.S. <br />Navy. Studies of ground-water availability in secondary permeability- <br />terranes. Development of procedures for well-site selection and <br />testing of wells for sustained yield in fractured rock aquifers. <br />Statistical studies of hydrogeologic and construction variables <br />associated with high-iel of wmajoririversfractured <br />and detection of water-quality <br />Studies.of water qualY <br />trends. Studies of hydrologic impacts of clearing and drainage of <br />wetlands. Remote sensing studies of land use, land cover, and drainage <br />patterns. Designated expert witness on ground water by EPA. <br />Technical advisor to N.C. Division of Environmentallsanags entoregarding <br />ground-water contamination and threat to supply at e organic <br />solvent spill, 1982. <br />Research assistant on Seagrant Program, University of N.C., 5/71 to 6/73. <br />Assistant instructor in graduate and undergraduate geology labs, <br />University of N.C., 1/68 to 4/71; supervisor of general geology labs and <br />lab instructors, 9/70 to 4/71. <br />Instructor at University of N.C. summer field camp in Taos, N.M., 1968. <br />MISCELLANEOUS EXPERIENCE: <br />Employee of Southern Testing and Research Laboratory, Wilson, N.C., 6/63 <br />to 8/64.
