Myers feels an emphasis on monitoring is important: what projects have gotten money, how <br /> much, and what were they able to accomplish with it; we want to make sure that funded projects are <br /> fulfilling obligations <br /> Ferguson will send email to get an idea of who is willing to look through BOCC <br /> minutes/resolutions to find: 1)name of project, 2) year it was approved and 3) amount of money <br /> dedicated <br /> -Go back to when AHAB was created(2001) <br /> Rosser asks if they only want to look at new developments funded, or if they also want to track <br /> other AH strategies that were funded(e.g. preservation,NOAH, rental acquisition, homebuyer <br /> assistance) <br /> -Board agrees that they want to look at comprehensive variety of projects <br /> -Ferguson suggests they can then look at percentage of new developments funded compared to <br /> other projects <br /> Nilssen asks staff to provide search terms to look at Resolutions <br /> Nilssen suggests shared document/spreadsheet to log findings; she will develop <br /> -Ferguson suggests for those who are unable to access shared documents that they can <br /> email to him the info they find <br /> Ferguson: 2001-2004 <br /> Myers: 2005-2008 <br /> Meschko: 2009-2011 <br /> Palmeira: 2012-2014 <br /> Nilssen: 2015-2018 <br /> Towell: 2019-2022 <br /> Community Meeting Planning <br /> -Community comes and shares whatever their thoughts are <br /> -Nilssen concerned about having meeting without sufficient preparation <br /> -Just because we've done two in the past doesn't mean we have to do two every year <br /> -Other members point out the consideration of covering both parts of county <br /> -Last meeting the majority was a presentation by previous director, and residents of area gave <br /> comments about how long they had waited with applying for county programs <br /> -Also discussion about land donation by private citizens <br /> -Nilssen feels it should be a collaboration between staff and board members <br /> -Can potentially be presentation of rough findings of research <br /> -Meschko would want to ask if any of their past issues have been resolved <br /> -Towell impresses importance of determining purpose of community meeting with staff <br /> beforehand; prefers meeting later such as September <br /> -Board prefers to have 1 instead of 2 community meetings, given significant transition/turnover <br /> among staff. <br /> -Identified September as the month for meeting, with location in south county. <br />
