AHAB members introduced themselves and <br /> new members were welcomed by the Board. <br /> Approval of Minutes <br /> Nilssen made a motion to approve the minutes of Tuesday,March 12,2024 and Meschko seconded <br /> the motion and the minutes were approved unanimously. <br /> Member Updates <br /> Nilssen: Tomorrow is Green Home Institute study of state-by-state green tax credits for affordable <br /> housing <br /> Ferguson: BOCC approved Climate Change Plan for OC, first time that has happened <br /> In June there is Climate Action grant, $250k used for any projects that will reduce <br /> greenhouse gas emissions; last year 90% of applicants were approved; specifically <br /> for public, non-profit entities and small businesses; application open in June <br /> Adams: government has approved$213 in grants to do similar actions <br /> Meschko: All vacancies at Eno Haven have been filled or are in process of being filled (55+) <br /> Myers: Would like to offer opportunity to view 52-unit AH building in construction right now, <br /> if anyone is interested please let him know... thinks it is valuable for committee and staff to <br /> understand difference between senior building, market rate and AH buildings <br /> -Nilssen will send Doodle to group, coordinating availability with Myers <br /> Staff Update: Alma Alegria has resigned from position, effective Friday April 12tn <br /> AH Research Project: <br /> Ferguson: lst step is to gather list of actions taken by county (i.e. looking through meeting <br /> minutes); Looking specifically at what BOCC approved, to help inform best use of money going <br /> forward <br />
