ORANGE TRANSPORTATION <br /> COUNTY GOVERNMENT <br /> TRANSPORTATION SERVICES DEPARTMENT <br /> COUNTY <br /> NoKm CALIQLLNA PUBLIC TRANSIT <br /> OrangeCounty <br /> Item 5.a. <br /> Subject: 2024 Annual Report and 2025 Work Plan <br /> Attachment: 2024 Annual Report and 2025 Work Plan <br /> PURPOSE: Approve the Orange Unified Transportation Board (OUTBoard) 2024 Annual Report <br /> and 2025 Work Plan. <br /> BACKGROUND: Each year, the OUTBoard showcases its dedication to improving multimodal <br /> transportation through its Annual Report, a comprehensive document that highlights the <br /> accomplishments of the past year while providing a clear roadmap for the year ahead.The Annual <br /> Report serves as a key communication tool, summarizing the significant progress made by the <br /> County's multimodal transportation advisory board, and demonstrating accountability and <br /> transparency in its operations. <br /> The 2024 Annual Report and 2025 Work Plan (Attachment 1) have been meticulously prepared <br /> to reflect the board's achievements over the past year, including milestone projects, community <br /> engagement initiatives, and policy advancements aimed at enhancing the County's <br /> transportation systems. Additionally, the document sets forth ambitious yet attainable goals for <br /> 2025, outlining actionable steps to address emerging challenges and seize opportunities for <br /> further improvement. <br /> Staff recommends the approval of this report and work plan, as they represent a strategic vision <br /> aligned with the County's long-term transportation objectives.
