(Chair) apologized for missing the previous meeting due to a work-related crisis. He proposed a <br /> 22 20-minute briefing for the next meeting regarding updates to the 2009 Farmland Protection Plan that he has <br /> 23 been involved in. <br /> 24 <br /> 25 AGENDA ITEM 3. OUTBOARD AGENDA <br /> 34 <br /> 35 a. 2019 Efland—Buckhorn—Mebane Access Management Plan Update <br /> 36 Nishith T. presented a status update comparing projected traffic volumes from the 2019 plan with current <br /> 37 development impacts.To date, only 25,000 of the projected 175,000 trips/day are being generated. <br /> 38 Discussion included: <br /> 39 • Truck traffic increases due to warehouse/industrial development. <br /> 40 • The need to consider freight in transportation planning. <br /> 41 • Potential public engagement to reassess the plan. <br /> 42 • Correction of wording in action items and project dates to reflect the 2025 timeline. <br /> 43 <br /> 44 Outcome: No action taken at this time; monitoring will continue. A follow-up presentation and potential <br /> 45 public engagement were discussed. <br /> 46 <br />
