It includes a focus on RDU, hotel meeting space refresh, <br /> and keeps the "Let Curiosity Lead You Here"tag line. <br /> • Expanded the target for the meeting campaign to include Atlanta, Tampa, and NYC through March <br /> 2024. <br /> • A new expanded business traveler campaign creative for the first couple months of 2024 with 25-65 <br /> age range. Targeting locally in Chapel Hill/Orange County but also competitive targeting in Durham <br /> and RTP. Will be advertised on trip advisor, display and native ad, and digital, including a video wall <br /> at RDU. <br /> • Sneak Piques: short video to show on social and website <br /> o Videos around 20-25 seconds <br /> o Introduce viewers to people who own, operate, and work at establishments that make up the <br /> soul of Orange County <br /> o Currently at 12 videos <br /> o Click here to view videos <br /> • Sights, lights and bites! <br /> o Focused during COVID on restaurants and bars with outside lights/heaters. <br /> o Many of these assets are still available to be updated, including the landing page. <br /> o Is there interest in drawing business to outdoor spaces? <br /> o Do we divert dollars to a 6-month hyper regional campaign? <br /> ■ The board voted in favor of this idea. <br /> • Next steps are finalizing creative for business traveler plan and sneak piques. <br /> Gift <br /> Grace Holtkamp of Merry Hill Hemp presented a gift of CBD Lavendar Salve to the board. This is a locally <br /> harvested product that can help with anti-inflammation, alleviating joint pain or muscle pain. CBD is working <br /> its way into higher end skin care as an alternative to traditional skincare that can include a lot of harsh <br /> products, i.e. retinol, collagen, hydraulic acid. <br /> New Business <br /> Beverly Payne The Occaneechi Band of the Saponi Nation <br /> • Annual powwow was successful. <br /> • Beverly will be rotating off the Alliance for Historic Hillsborough board, and therefore there will be a <br /> new representative for the CHOCVB Advisory Board <br /> • Hillsborough Parade will be on Sunday, December 4th at 4pm followed by the tree lighting. <br /> Sharon Hill <br /> • Economic development board will be putting together a strategic plan. <br /> Wendy Smith, Representing the Arts Center <br /> 21 Page CHOCVB BOD Meeting November 15 , 2023 <br />
