This includes the cost of <br /> hardware, licensing, and accelerated configuration services, as well as on-site assistance in the <br /> physical installation of the hardware in the Orange County Data Center. The funding for this <br /> purchase was approved in the Fiscal Year 2025-26 Capital Investment Plan. <br /> ALIGNMENT WITH STRATEGIC PLAN: This item supports: <br /> • GOAL 5: PUBLIC EDUCATION/LEARNING COMMUNITY <br /> OBJECTIVE 3. Provide support for workforce development through training, tools, <br /> technology, and other resources. <br /> • GOAL 1: ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND CLIMATE ACTION <br /> OBJECTIVE 2. Invest in our infrastructure to reduce the environmental impact of County <br /> fleet/facilities and improve safety. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board approve and authorize the <br /> Manager to execute all necessary contracts as well as any future amendments. <br />
