Approved 8.6.25
at this review process. We've come through all of these steps, and that's why you're hearing from
the applicant tonight. And then echoing again that it's our recommendation that you hear the
application, deliberate on the proposal and then consider the staff recommendation, that the
proposal is consistent with the comprehensive plan and the ordinance and then make a
recommendation to BOCC,which that hearing will most likely come in, tentatively, September 4th
hearing, and that's all we have from staff. I think that answered our question and moved us
forward in the slides. Did you have anything else for us staff?

Lamar Proctor: Anyone?

Dolores Bailey: Quick question, and just to anybody. In the yellow version, Option No. 3 says no burning of land
clearing waste shall occur. How then will you get rid of the wood waste as you move trees? 1
guess I'm asking the applicant.

Michael Fiocco: The commitment is that that will not occur.

Dolores Bailey: Right.

Michael Fiocco: So,the trees will be removed, hauled off, chipped, often times, and can be used around campus.

Dolores Bailey: Okay. My second question for you then is, you mentioned right now you're two different zonings
and so you're trying to combine them. What are the two zonings?

Michael Fiocco: A planned district housing and rural buffer.

Dolores Bailey: And so, the housing piece is going to go away?

Michael Fiocco: The conditional district that we're going to allows for residential use as well.

Dolores Bailey: Okay. And are you all planning on doing any residential?

Michael Fiocco: There will be some residential. There's residential on campus already today, and so those will
continue to be used.

Dolores Bailey: And in the 15-year plan, I don't have any idea of how much housing you've got now, but housing is
my thing, so, in the plans, going towards the 15-year, are you going to house more?

Michael Fiocco: Right now, there are no plans for new houses. It's plans to occupy the existing houses and use
them for educational purposes.

Dolores Bailey: Okay. Would you consider, in the 15-year plan, doing some more housing?

Michael Fiocco: We have thought about doing some housing that could be used for visiting teachers or existing
teachers.

Dolores Bailey: Okay.

Michael Fiocco: So,we have thought about that, and we thought that some of the structures that are already on
campus could be those buildings.

Dolores Bailey: There's such a shortage of housing, and since you have that already going it would be wonderful,
even if you just created housing for your teaching staff.

Michael Fiocco: Yeah. We have definitely thought about that.
