Description of Work <br />2025 Fire Alarm System Annual Test & Inspection <br />Impact Fire Services is pleased to offer the fire alarm system test and inspection. All work will be performed by qualified personnel in <br />accordance with NFPA 70 and 72. The system will need to be put on test mode prior to inspection/testing. Notification to tenants and <br />monitoring services are the responsibility of the property owner. It is the customer's responsibility to make sure that all necessary <br />information (monitoring entity/password) is accessible at the time of inspection. The inspection will include the following steps. <br />NFPA 72 ANNUAL TEST PLAN <br />Visually inspect all accessible initiating devices (pull stations, smoke detectors, heat detectors) and all accessible <br />notification devices (horns, horn/strobes, strobes) Ensure no changes that effect equipment performance. Inspect for any <br />modifications, occupancy changes or environmental changes or device locations, physical obstructions, device <br />orientation, physical damage, and degree of cleanliness. <br />Test all accessible control and initiating devices to verify they report to the fire alarm control panel and verification through <br />monitoring communications. <br />Test all accessible notification appliances and power supplies to verify they are in compliance with the manufacturer's <br />specifications. <br />Testing of auxiliary power supplies and back up batteries. <br />Verify location and condition of Optical fiber cable connections, Verification of and conformation of proper labeling of <br />power disconnect means. Combination systems, alarm control interfaces and emergency control function interfaces, <br />guards tour equipment, all notification appliances, loudspeakers, two-way emergency communications systems, <br />supervising station alarm systems, public emergency alarm reporting systems transmission equipment and Mass <br />notification systems. <br />Notation of any repairs, deficiencies, or additional NFPA 72 required testing, will be provided. A quote for these repairs will <br />be provided within a timely manner for the owner's approval. Any areas requiring compliance report uploads will be sent <br />as required to the AHU. Any repairs will need to be completed within a limited time to maintain compliance of your system. <br />Impact Fire Services will complete an NFPA 72 inspection report and provide a copy to the client. All testing shall meet <br />local AHJ acceptable methods as well as NFPA and manufacture accepted methods or recommendations. <br />If required, Impact Fire Services will upload the NFPA 72 annual inspection report to third-party upload system at an <br />additional cost. <br />At the completion of system inspection, the system will need to be taken off test mode, and verification of system monitoring. It is the <br />responsibility of the property owner to return the fire alarm system back to normal after all testing and verification of communication.
