Revised 01/24 <br />1 <br />[Departmental Use Only] <br />TITLE Fire Alarm Inspect <br />FY 2025-2026 <br />NORTH CAROLINA <br />SERVICES AGREEMENT NO RFP/RFQ <br />ORANGE COUNTY <br /> This Services Agreement (hereinafter “Agreement”), made and entered into this 1st day of <br />July, 2025, (“Effective Date”) by and between Orange County, North Carolina a political <br />subdivision of the State of North Carolina (hereinafter, the "County") and Impact Fire <br />Services LLC, (hereinafter, the "Provider"). <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> That the County and Provider, for the consideration herein named, do hereby agree as <br />follows: <br />1. Services <br />a.Scope of Work. <br />i)This Agreement is for services to be rendered by Provider to County with respect <br />to (insert type of project): Visually inspect all accessible initiating devices (pull <br />stations, smoke detectors, heat detectors) and all accessiblenotification devices <br />(horns, horn/strobes, strobes) Ensure no changes that effect equipment performance. <br />Inspect for anymodifications, occupancy changes or environmental changes or <br />device locations, physical obstructions, deviceorientation, physical damage, and <br />degree of cleanliness. Test all accessible control and initiating devices to verify they <br />report to the fire alarm control panel and verification throughmonitoring <br />communications. Test all accessible notification appliances and power supplies to <br />verify they are in compliance with the manufacturer'sspecifications. Testing of <br />auxiliary power supplies and back up batteries. Verify location and condition of <br />Optical fiber cable connections, Verification of and conformation of proper labeling <br />ofpower disconnect means. Combination systems, alarm control interfaces and <br />emergency control function interfaces,guards tour equipment, all notification <br />appliances, loudspeakers, two-way emergency communications systems,supervising <br />station alarm systems, public emergency alarm reporting systems transmission <br />equipment and Massnotification systems. Notation of any repairs, deficiencies, or <br />additional NFPA 72 required testing, will be provided. A quote for these repairs <br />willbe provided within a timely manner for the owner's approval. Any areas <br />requiring compliance report uploads will be sentas required to the AHU. Any <br />repairs will need to be completed within a limited time to maintain compliance of <br />your system. Impact Fire Services will complete an NFPA 72 inspection report and <br />provide a copy to the client. All testing shall meetlocal AHJ acceptable methods as <br />well as NFPA and manufacture accepted methods or recommendations. If required, <br />Impact Fire Services will upload the NFPA 72 annual inspection report to third- <br />party upload system at anadditional cost. At the completion of system inspection, <br />the system will need to be taken off test mode, and verification of system <br />monitoring.
