Approved 5.7.25

Lamar Proctor: Okay. Any second?

Charity Kirk: I second.

Lamar Proctor: All right. All in favor of approving the minutes for the February 5th, 2025, regular planning board
meeting say, aye or raise your hand.

MOTION BY Statler Gilfillen to approve the February 5t"meeting minutes. Seconded by Charity Kirk.

MOTION PASSED UNANIMOUSLY

AGENDA ITEM 4: CONSIDERATION OF ADDITIONS TO AGENDA

None

AGENDA ITEM 5: PUBLIC CHARGE

Lamar Proctor read the Public Charge.

AGENDA ITEM 6: CHAIR COMMENTS

Lamar Proctor: Mr. Stober informed me that due to the input of the Board of County Commissioners the
comprehensive plan implementation and process has been delayed by approximately a year, and
1 encourage all the planning board members and interested members of the public to view any of
the video recordings of the Board of County Commission meetings where they did a deep dive
into the comprehensive plan and the issues that concern the County Commissioners, so that we
can be responsive to what their concerns and interests as to the comprehensive plan are,
because we're going to be looking at it as well. So, I encourage all of us to go back and review
those videos and see what the deep dive into the comprehensive plan as per the Board of County
Commissioners was. Is there anything else to add to that, Cy?

Cy Stober: No, I would just say, as I discussed with you, this should be an info item that Tom or Perdita
presents at either the next meeting or the June meeting. Just an update on what our schedule
moving forward looks like, as far as we know it. We'd like to present with certainty, but we're
pivoting and coming up with a new calendar. And when we have that we'll share that with y'all.

Lamar Proctor: Okay, so that'll be an informational item at a future meeting.

Cy Stober: Correct.

Chris Johnston: Before then, what, what meeting specifically should we review so that we can be best informed?

Cy Stober: Last meeting, so that's April 8th, and then that was March, was it 11th?

Beth Bronson: March 11 th.

Cy Stober: The March 11th one was a lengthier discussion. The video from last night really was more
procedural about how the commissioners wish to move forward and was broader. It's only a half-
hour long discussion. There are relevant discussions on the strategic plan, and the agricultural
protection plan that may be of interest, but those are much longer discussions.

Chris Johnston: Okay. Thank you.
