11 <br />Job References <br />We do not want to place our employees in the situation of having to respond to unsolicited inquiries. <br />Only management is permitted to respond to reference and public inquiries. All requests from <br />outside sources for personnel information concerning applicants for employment, current employees, <br />and former employees must be directed to a manager. <br /> <br />Conflict of Interest <br />Employees must be aware of all potential conflict of interest situations. A conflict of interest exists <br />where one’s loyalties and commitments are pulled against the loyalties and efforts of the company. <br />Even the appearance of an impropriety or conflict can create a conflict of interest. It is imperative <br />that all employees adhere to a strict code of ethical conduct and avoid any impropriety or the <br />appearance of any impropriety. <br /> <br />Outside Employment <br />An employee’s full-time position is considered his or her primary responsibility and outside <br />employment is discouraged. However, if an employee seeks additional employment, he or she shall <br />determine that no conflict of interest exists and that he or she can effectively perform the job duties <br />for the company. Employees must consult their manager before pursuing or continuing outside <br />employment that may be considered a conflict of interest or create the appearance of any <br />impropriety. An employee who is engaged in outside employment may not use the equipment, <br />facilities, or other resources of the company in such outside employment. <br /> <br />Personnel Records and Change in Status <br />Each employee must provide accurate information for personnel and applicable fringe benefit <br />purposes. This information includes, without limitation, his or his name, social security number, <br />address, telephone number, names and addresses of spouse and dependents, beneficiaries under <br />fringe benefits plans, number of tax exemptions, and eligibility for work. Other information may <br />also be required. Employees are responsible for promptly notifying the Orange County SportsPlex of <br />any changes in this information. <br /> <br />General Housekeeping <br />Employees must pay constant attention to safety and are required to follow these simple rules and <br />others given by their supervisors: <br /> Keep work and storage areas clean and free from debris <br /> Avoid cluttering restrooms and eating areas; clean up when finished <br /> Keep all tools and equipment clean and in good condition <br /> <br />Dress/Attire <br />All employees must report to work in clean, neat attire including being clean shaven or trimmed. It <br />is the policy of our company to present “sport/business casual” attire, and our employees are <br />expected to dress in the appropriate and professional manner. For example: hair must be kept in a <br />neat, clean, and professional manner; appropriate undergarments must be worn at all times; fingernail <br />length should not interfere with the performance of any duties; blue jeans will not be allowed to be <br />worn; shorts should be on a casual length; body markings, logo, insignia that may be considered <br />offensive to others are prohibited. Employees are required to wear company issued uniform items at <br />all times when performing their duties.
