Qualitative and Financial Performance: <br />Recreation Factory Partners believes that to achieve specific financial and performance objectives there must <br />be a fully integrated business model that starts with a long-term strategic business plan built around Orange <br />County’s stated Strategic Plan supplemented by specific revenue growth, operating cost containment, <br />customer satisfaction and facility infrastructure maintenance. All within the stated requirements and metrics <br />laid out in the Sportsplex Management Agreement. <br />The Strategic Plan forms the underlying basis for each year’s Annual Plan wherein objectives are fine tuned into <br />specific revenue growth goals; cost containment or reduction goals; continuous improvement objectives by <br />department, as well as employee professional growth. Around these goals an annual budget is formulated <br />broken down by department and individual program. This is clearly documented, provided to the Owner and, <br />just as importantly, communicated and bought into by the management team. <br />Periodically, customer/member surveys are conducted to ensure that the strategic objectives and annual goals <br />are consistent with the wants/needs of the Sportsplex customer base. <br />Measurement against stated goals is frequently analyzed through our detailed enterprise-wide software which <br />allows for the monitoring of revenues on a macro level but also detailed by department; by product/service; by <br />customer, etc. Expenses are controlled through a formal vouchering/approval process and monitored <br />daily/weekly against prior periods and budget to ensure the business is operated in a controlled manner.
