If so, could they <br />provide a list of the sites? <br />Response: Refer to Addendum 01, dated January 30, 2025, for the list of sites. <br />Q2a – How is the county looking to finance these feasibility studies? <br />Response: The county will be funding these feasibility studies with county funding. <br /> <br />Q2b – Is there a specific grant involved? <br />Response: There are no grants involved. <br /> <br />Q3 – Are there any specific deadlines or milestones the County would like the selected firm to <br />adhere to? <br />Response: There are not any specific milestones or deadlines at this time. The intent is to <br />determine a schedule with the selected firm. <br /> <br />Q4 – How many and what type of facilities will we be studying? <br />Response: The facilities are all county facilities, which include Community Centers, Senior <br />Centers, Office and Administrative buildings, Recreational Facilities, Court facilities, and one <br />parking deck. <br /> <br />Q5 – What is the geographic region of those facilities? <br />Responses: Orange County is located in the north-central Piedmont region of North Carolina, and <br />each of these facilities are located throughout Orange County. <br /> <br />Q6 – The RFQ states a desire to understand how any potential solar projects identified by the feasibility <br />study would make progress towards Orange County’s 100% renewable goals. According to the Climate <br />Action Plan, the County has achieved a 13% renewable energy portfolio by 2019.
