Purpose: <br /> <br />Orange County, North Carolina, is releasing this Request for Qualifications (hereafter <br />‘RFQ’) to seek responses from qualified consultants to provide a Solar Feasibility study <br />for Orange County facilities. The County is seeking firms whose combination of <br />experience and expertise will provide timely, professional services. The County <br />reserves the right to enter into one or more contracts with any firm selected under this <br />RFQ process. <br /> <br />Information related to this solicitation, including any addenda, will be posted on the <br />County’s website at https://www.orangecountync.gov/Bids.aspx. Project Overview and Scope of Work: <br /> <br />Orange County, NC, is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to conduct a <br />feasibility study on installing solar panels at various county facilities. This study aims to <br />evaluate the potential for solar energy generation, identify the most suitable locations for <br />installation, estimate costs, and determine the economic and environmental benefits <br />associated with the project. <br /> <br />The selected firm will work with the Owner design committee, which includes, but is not <br />limited to, the Director of Asset Management Services, the Capital Projects Manager, <br />the Capital Field Coordinator, the Sustainability Program Manager, and the <br />Sustainability Projects Analyst.
