9 <br />Portions of the area depicted as Option 2 may be developed at urban densities <br />at some future date. If this occurs, the infrastructure making it possible will <br />most likely originate in the Mebane/Alamance area. While inclusion of this <br />area in the Alamance MPO is not proposed, coordination with transportation <br />planning to the west is logical given other urbanizing influences from that <br />direction. This should be an item for on-going Orange County, Town of <br />Mebane, Alamance County discussions. <br />
