Call to Order at 6:38pm by Crystal <br /> 2. Krista moved to approve the October 2024 Board Minutes with one correction and <br /> Heather seconded. All approved. <br /> 3. Director's Report: Katie reported on the following items: <br /> a. Upcoming volunteer needs— Katie could really use volunteers to assist at a few <br /> upcoming events--first dance performance in the Eno Mill Gallery this Friday <br /> 11/15, work an information table at the Holiday Bazaar 10-5pm Saturday 11/16 <br /> and work the beverage tent at December First Friday. <br /> b. December Mutual Aide Auction update—changed the event to be the August <br /> 2025 gallery show with a silent auction of art from western NC artists. <br /> c. First Fridays—Shoaldiggers are performing at the December First Friday. Katie <br /> discussed input on the upcoming event and the hours for future events, which <br /> we might change to only 2 hours (7-9pm) from 3 hours (6-9pm). <br /> d. 2025 BIPOC AIR—call is open for a BIPOC Arist in Residence at the Eno Arts Mill. <br /> We've had two great artists so far in the program. Katie asks that we share her <br /> post about the open call on social media and our networks. <br /> e. AEP6 Presentations— Katie's presentation of the Arts Economic Prosperity <br /> version 6 results for Orange County is going well. She is open to presenting it at <br /> any group or board that we are connected to. She has presented it at the <br /> Visitor's Bureau and our County Commissioners. <br /> f. Jeep raffle—this is an initiative of the OCAA board. Katie is concerned with the <br /> small volume of sales so far. We must have 1200 to hold the raffle. The board <br /> discussed additional ideas to push additional sales. <br /> 4. Board Vacancy/Applications <br /> a. 1 open position— Katie is still working on filling our open position by talking to <br /> likely candidates. <br /> 5. Liaison Reports <br />
