Liaison Reports <br /> • UNC Student Liaison Update—no update <br /> • Chapel Hill Cultural Arts Commission -staff working hard at the festival planning, basketball <br /> court mural and women's empowerment mural, which is grant funded. Staff are also focusing <br /> on the budget.The commission is still excited about the new poet Laurette and is still working <br /> on name change. CHCAC is still finalizing process for the grant program in next fiscal year. <br /> • UNC-on spring break this week. Big Mural is finally going up—Artist is from London. <br /> PlayMakers just wrapped up their show.Arts Everywhere day is still happening. <br /> • Hillsborough Arts Council - big fund raiser this Saturday with music food, etc.John <br /> recommended the event to all. <br /> • The ArtsCenter - busy with new building.Trying to augment what they do with Maker's Space <br /> technology and working with UNC. Show this Friday is Jazz Fusion with local artists.
