■ The board asked Katie if she had a Mill roadmap document. Discussion about how that <br /> type of document could be helpful to list future possibilities at the Mill and how to get <br /> there. <br /> ■ Katie's first step is to understand her budget and if staffing could be acquired. <br /> ■ Board is available to help with designing a road map <br /> • Branding/new logo for Orange County Arts Commission <br /> o Arts Alliance has money to pay for a professional branding/logo proposal and they've <br /> agreed to pursue that work. <br /> o A call will be issued <br /> • AEP6 study — going but still need volunteers at arts events. <br /> 5) Liaison Reports updated at meeting <br /> a) UNC Crystal Wu <br /> Semester is wrapping up so a lot less going on <br /> Music department performance upcoming <br /> Ackland is open over the holiday so a reminder that it could be a good destination for families <br /> Arts Market — 12/3 <br /> CH Christmas parade 12/3 <br /> Carolina Performing Arts has Jazz at Lincoln Center <br /> Spring season just announced including opera <br /> PlayMakers — Jane Austin reimagined "Emma" <br /> b) Hillsborough Arts Council -John Bemis <br /> Solstice walk is wed 12/21 and holiday market <br /> c) Orange County Artists Guild - Anita Mills <br /> Just finished Artist Studio tour, which was a good show for most artist. <br /> Saw Visitors from further out <br /> We saw160 visitors to the Mill because of the Studio tour <br /> 6) Board member updates <br /> • Skylight Gallery has pop up this weekend. <br /> • ArtsEvery is looking for a development director <br /> • Fred working with Max Dowd on a show in January where they are sharing work -- 9 poets and 9 <br /> visual arts and will be at First Friday of January <br /> Adjourn 8:05pm <br />
