Please spread the word. Crystal will send an email post meeting with <br /> the details. Also, FestiFall is coming up October 8th. Tracks Music festival is <br /> going on now. <br /> c) UNC - Crystal told us Ackland Art Museum is opening their Rembrandt <br /> exhibit. Soul Rebels will be at Memorial Hall and Big Frieda is leading a <br /> Twerking workshop on campus. PlayMakers is finishing up their first show of <br /> the new season. The Stone Center has 2022 diaspora festival of black and <br /> independent film kickoff on September 29t" <br /> d) Hillsborough Arts Council — no update <br /> e) The ArtsCenter —just transitions from summer camp to after school with a <br /> revamped after school program. Lots of shows coming up such as Bob Mole <br /> 10/16 and Josh Lozoff on 10/8. Two film makers made a movie in the Arts <br /> Center called The Fog. Screening of the movie 10/28. DEI initiative starting up <br /> again. <br /> f) Carrboro Arts — no update <br /> g) Visitor's Bureau — Katie reported that in Orange Slices newsletter there will <br /> be an article about Paint It Orange <br /> h) Orange County Artists Guild - Anita said tour committees are working hard <br /> to make the final preparations for the 2022 Tour. <br /> 6) Board member updates — Lindsay talked about the current show in Peel and <br /> Basement Art Space NC. Celebration this Saturday. Make//Take photograph <br /> show at Peel and at Block Gallery. Peel opening is October 14'. Peel will <br /> have a table at a Photo show in Durham on 10/2 and another even on Sunday <br /> October 16 <br /> Adjourned 7:17pm <br />
