Dance and improve are doing well <br /> with good attendance and covid precautions. <br /> b) Chapel Hill Arts Commission <br /> The commission is fighting for the 10% dedication to the arts <br /> decreed by town ordinance in connection to the new multi-use <br /> building on Rosemary St. <br /> c) UNC <br /> Alison Friedman has been named director for Carolina <br /> Performing Arts and Arts Everywhere. Playmakers held it's first <br /> show this weekend with extended invitations to many frontline <br /> workers. <br /> d) Hillsborough Arts Council <br /> The Solstice Lantern Walk on December 21St will be in person. <br /> The Handmade Parade will be held the last weekend in April. <br /> The first workshop for the parade will be held December 1 at the Mill. <br /> e) The ArtsCenter <br /> f) Carrboro Arts <br /> g) Visitors Bureau <br /> VRBO and Airbnb are doing well in the western part of the state. <br /> Hotels are not. <br /> h) OCAG <br /> The tour is back with good sales.
