Opioid Settlement Fund Spending Authorization Resolution and Approval of Budget <br /> Amendment#9-A <br /> The Board approved the formal required resolution providing final opioid settlement fund spending <br /> authorization for FY 2026 and approve Budget Amendment#9-A. <br /> d. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Week Proclamation <br /> The Board approved a proclamation recognizing the week of May 18-24, 2025 as EMS Week in <br /> Orange County, highlighting First Responders for their amazing work throughout the year. <br /> e. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Week Proclamation <br /> The Board approved a proclamation declaring May 25-31, 2025, as "Heat Awareness Week" in <br /> Orange County. <br /> f. Approval of License Agreement with TABLE Ministries, Inc. for Use of a Portion of <br /> Future Twin Creeks Park for Agricultural Production <br /> The Board approved a license agreement with TABLE Ministries, Inc. for the use of a three-acre <br /> portion of the County's future Twin Creeks Park at 8022 Old NC 86 for agricultural production. <br /> g. Orange County Health Department Refresh Construction Contract Award <br /> The Board: <br /> 1) Approved the County entering into a construction contract with Harrod and Assoc. <br /> Constructors, Inc. for the Orange County Health Department Improvements; and <br /> 2) Authorized the County Manager to execute the Agreement, subject to final review by the <br /> County Attorney, and any subsequent amendments for contingent and unforeseen <br /> requirements up to the approved budget amount on behalf of the Board. <br />
