Opioid Settlement Fund Spending Authorization Resolution and Approval of Budget <br /> 29 Amendment #9-A <br /> 30 The Board approved the formal required resolution providing final opioid settlement fund spending <br /> 31 authorization for FY 2026 and approve Budget Amendment #9-A. <br /> 32 d. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Week Proclamation <br /> 33 The Board approved a proclamation recognizing the week of May 18-24, 2025 as EMS Week in <br /> 34 Orange County, highlighting First Responders for their amazing work throughout the year. <br /> 35 e. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Week Proclamation <br /> 36 The Board approved a proclamation declaring May 25-31, 2025, as "Heat Awareness Week" in <br /> 37 Orange County. <br /> 38 f. Approval of License Agreement with TABLE Ministries, Inc. for Use of a Portion of <br /> 39 Future Twin Creeks Park for Agricultural Production <br /> 40 The Board approved a license agreement with TABLE Ministries, Inc. for the use of a three-acre <br /> 41 portion of the County's future Twin Creeks Park at 8022 Old NC 86 for agricultural production. <br /> 42 g. Oranqe County Health Department Refresh Construction Contract Award <br /> 43 The Board: <br /> 44 1) Approved the County entering into a construction contract with Harrod and Assoc. <br /> 45 Constructors, Inc. for the Orange County Health Department Improvements; and <br /> 46 2) Authorized the County Manager to execute the Agreement, subject to final review by the <br /> 47 County Attorney, and any subsequent amendments for contingent and unforeseen <br /> 48 requirements up to the approved budget amount on behalf of the Board. <br /> 49 <br />
