She asked what the <br /> 12 ABC Board's reasoning was for recommending Dr. Feeney. <br /> 13 Commissioner Fowler asked if Dr. Pankratz is serving on any other board. <br /> 14 Tara May said she is not sure of the exact discussion the ABC Board had when deciding <br /> 15 who to recommend. She said she can get more information to bring this back if the Board would <br /> 16 like. She said Dr. Pankratz has applied for the Opioid Advisory Committee but has not been <br /> 17 appointed. <br /> 18 Chair Bedford said, having served on the ABC Board in the past, they give a lot of thought <br /> 19 to who they recommend. She asked when the next vacancy on the ABC Board would be. <br /> 20 Tara May said June 30, 2026. <br /> 21 Chair Bedford said she would like to support their recommendation. <br /> 22 Commissioner McKee agreed. <br /> 23 The Board agreed by consensus on the recommended applicant. The Board also agreed <br /> 24 to appoint Judson Williamson as chair. <br /> 25 Tara May said she would relay the Board's support for Dr. Pankratz for the next vacancy. <br /> 26 <br /> 27 7. Animal Services Advisory Board <br /> 28 The Board discussed appointments to the Animal Services Advisory Board. <br /> 29 <br /> 30 BACKGROUND: The charge of the Animal Services Advisory Board is to advise the Board of <br /> 31 County Commissioners on matters of concern regarding animal issues and animal services in <br /> 32 Orange County, and to work with the Animal Services Director on various policy concerns and <br /> 33 issues regarding County animal services. <br /> 34 <br /> 35 The Board of County Commissioners appoints all thirteen (13) members with representation <br /> 36 from various related fields and municipalities. <br /> 37 <br /> 38 The following individuals are recommended for Board consideration: <br />
