IEM'S project management approach has <br /> been honed over four decades, providing high-quality, cost- <br /> effective services and excellent customer responsiveness. We <br /> are experienced in managing contracts with local,state,regional, PROJECT <br /> and federal governmental bodies in a collaborative and MANAGEMENT IEM BODY OF "• <br /> .• <br /> supportive environment.We continually analyze and refine our KNOWLEDGE VALUES <br /> corporate processes through lessons learned and multiple PRINCIPLES <br /> feedback loops in project implementation so all our customers <br /> benefit from our experiences. The key to our projectGUIDE <br /> management process is the IEM Project Management Guide. <br /> The IEM Project Management Guide (PMG) is used for all IEM projects. It represents our project management <br /> methodology,which combines I EM's Core Values with the principles outlined in the Project Management Institute's <br /> Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOKS Guide). <br /> IEM'S project management process ensures consistent engagement with Orange County throughout the project, <br /> quality and timely deliverables, and the ability to pivot depending on the County's changing needs. IEM'S project <br /> management process is used for all our projects to observe and advise on plans and specifications to assure <br /> compliance with applicable local, state, and federal laws, regulations, executive orders, and EMAP standards.The <br /> critical elements of our approach that will be accomplished by the IEM Project Manager, Sigrid Carrero-Perez, <br /> include: <br /> • Project Management Plan:Develop a detailed work plan that outlinesthe objectives,activities,milestones, <br /> and dependencies to complete the project tasks within the timeline agreed upon by Orange County. IEM <br /> can meet all project requirements and client expectations. <br /> • Meetings: The IEM Project Manager will attend regular project update meetings with the project <br /> management group, comprised of the emergency managers from each jurisdiction, either virtually or on- <br /> site, to review progress on the project and keep stakeholders informed of any potential issues related to <br /> the project timeline or deliverables.IEM will identify possible solutionsto any problems and mitigate them <br /> accordingly. The Project Manager will also hold regular project update meetings with the Project <br /> Management Group, public sector, private sector, non-profit, and community stakeholders. <br /> • Meeting Documents:IEM will capture and prepare all meeting minutes and additional project management <br /> Orange County requirements from attended meetings and collaboration sessions no more than three <br /> business days after an event. <br /> • Progress Reports: The IEM Project Manager will provide monthly reports documenting project <br /> accomplishments and progress,identifythe next steps and dependencies for activities moving forward,and <br /> provide weekly status updates as requested.The monthly reports will be attached to all monthly billing <br /> invoice statements. <br /> • High-Quality Deliverables: The IEM Project Manager and our Technical Editors will ensure the highest- <br /> quality deliverables.All materials will be provided in electronic,editable Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat <br /> (PDF) formats. <br /> 3 <br /> ©IEM.
