Docusign Envelope ID:41C61DCAE-51D11-45DB-B323-E96B1CD9F68F <br /> WCOM COMMUNTY RADIO HOST AGREEMENT <br /> As a host on WCOM,I agree to and understand that violation of any of the agreements below can cause immediate suspension or <br /> cancellation of my program: <br /> 1.Maintain underwriting for my show at all times at rates set from time to time by the Board of Directors.Underwriting may be <br /> paid one year in advance or through monthly recurring payments using PayPal or other online payment services <br /> 2.Make underwriting announcements using copy approved in advance by the board president orthe designated Committee chair. <br /> Encourage listeners to donate their online,tax deductible donations to WCOM at www.wcomfm.org. <br /> 3.participate in on air fundraisers as they are scheduled,and support any on air station fundraising events. <br /> 4.Arrive in time to be on air precisely at my show's start time and end my show five minutes before the next show absent an <br /> agreement with the next host.Only broadcast during my assigned time slot and at the end of each show pull up the slider for our <br /> automation system. <br /> 5. Follow all FCC regulations,station rules,and state and federal laws,including 1)making legal station IDs("WCOM-LP <br /> Chapel Hill and Carrboro"or"WCOM-LP 103.5 Chapel Hill and Carrboro")within 5 minutesof the top of the hour,and <br /> announcing underwriting messages;2)broadcasting nothing that is libelous or in violation of NC Defamation Law,that is said in <br /> earnest but known by the host to be false,or that calls for illegal actions except as an expression of advocacy for civil <br /> disobedience in opposition to a law the host believes to be unjust.,3)informing callers if they are going to be on air;or 4)never <br /> accepting anything of value in return for airplay.. <br /> 6.Not promote any goods,services,or organizations,except for PSA's from non-profits and calendar announcements,such as for <br /> concerts,made without comparatives or calls to action.Allow all Emergency Alert System(EAS)announcements to be broadcast <br /> despite the interruption.Not air live TV,other radio stations,or free Internet playlists which do not include legal IDs or <br /> underwriting messages. <br /> 7.Clearly state whenever necessary that"opinions expressed on this show are not those of WCOM,its board of directors,or <br /> underwriters." <br /> 8.Provide a recorded back up show via dropbox for the automation system which must be updated monthly.If I recruit a <br /> substitute,that person will have current signed host agreement.If I your show has a co-host,that person will have current signed <br /> host agreement on file. <br /> 9.
