Assist with the final logistics coordination of Uproar Festival of Public Art, taking place August 1-23,
<br />2025, including but not limited to, communications with artwork sites, install crew, and volunteer
<br />coordinator.
<br />With the OCAC director, assist in information gathering related to the use of the Cloth Mill. This
<br />includes developing a list of outfitting needs, researching pricing, and maintaining the set Cloth Mill
<br />budget. The contractor will coordinate listening sessions with invested parties in specific areas of
<br />use, including music performance, theater, dance, and film.
<br />o September – October:
<br />Oversee outfitting of Cloth Mill. Will work with OCAC director to develop and manage outfit budget,
<br />order supplies, design layout of the space.
<br />Assist OCAC director in hiring process for support staff including event managers, bartenders, and
<br />private events coordinator.
<br />Meet with potential renters and develop preliminary schedule of events.
<br />Work with OCAC staff on coordination of the Markers at the Mill Holiday Bazaar on Saturday,
<br />November 15, including promotion to local vendors, vendor selection, site layout and securing of
<br />entertainment and décor.
<br />Work with OCAC staff and board on an event in late fall/early holidays to celebrate the 40th
<br />anniversary of the OCAC and unveiling of new brand.
<br />o November – June:
<br />Serve as primary venue manager of Cloth Mill event space, serving as point of contact for outside
<br />artists and organizations wishing to rent the venue for cultural and community events.
<br />Conduct weekly meetings with staff coordinator of private events to ensure communication and
<br />logistics coordination.
<br />Serve as lead event planner for OCAC-sponsored events at the Cloth Mill. Possible events include
<br />concerts, craft fairs, dances, films, and other fundraising events.
<br />Scenario 2: OCAC does not receive approval to lease the Cloth Mill
<br />o July– August:

<br />leased, this information will be used for future feasibility study for a cultural arts facility.
<br />o September – October:
<br />Work with OCAC staff on coordination of the Markers at the Mill Holiday Bazaar on Saturday,
<br />November 15, including promotion to local vendors, vendor selection, site layout and securing of
<br />entertainment and décor.
<br />Work with OCAC staff and board on an event in late fall/early holidays to celebrate the 40th
<br />anniversary of the OCAC and unveiling of new brand.
<br />o November – June:
<br />Together with OCAC director, develop a festival or concert series to benefit Orange County, taking
<br />place possibly at Blackwood Farm Park or other public venue(s).
<br />4.Fees and Payment Terms
<br />-Total Fee: $70,000
<br />-Payment Schedule: $5,833.33 in fees earned and paid monthly in arears.
<br />-Any additional costs (e.g., travel, supply reimbursement) must be by written amendment.
