The County Assessor still holds the responsibility of assessment and taxability of the vehicles. A copy of NCGS 105-330 was provided to the board members via email. This statute establishes a uniform system for listing, appraisal and taxation of registered motor vehicles. • The discussion on providing a copy of the County's evidence to the appellants was revisited. Both benefits and concerns were addressed. Saru Salvi made a motion to have a printed copy of the County's evidence available to the appellant at the time of their Board of Equalization and Review hearing. Richal Vanhook seconded the motion. There were no objections. • The Thursday, June 26, 2025 meeting has been cancelled.
