There have been no upgrades on the house since then. The house
is very old and has lots of improvements needed. It needs to be painted, and the interior has no
upgrades at all. It has two bathrooms where there is much work needed. There is mold in the
house due to leaks in the roof. I don't understand how the house could increase this much in
taxes due to the condition of the house. We live in a watershed which limits what we can do to
our property as far as the acreage. This is our family property that my parents farmed on. The
taxes are too high for our community and unaffordable.
Evidence submitted by the county representative:
• Subject property is single family masonry home. After reviewing the property, the following
adjustments are suggested: Correct the primary wall from frame to masonry, lower the
construction grade from C+10 to C, adjust the effective age from 1988 to 1978 and the
condition from average to fair.
• Current Property Record Card of Subject
• Proposed Property Record Card of Subject
• Aerial Map
• Photographs of Subject Property
