There is no house on my property and I don't understand why <br /> the county has the value so high. We, our family,have been living peacefully in this great <br /> neighborhood without interruptions from anyone moving in until recently. Although we have <br /> neighbors that may have increased the value,we know that the value of our property should not <br /> have increased to the amount that you have stated. This property has been in our family since <br /> the 50's and our grandparents worked hard to ensure that we had a place to raise our children. <br /> We want to keep our family property and pass it on to our children. We know that property <br /> within the vicinity has a lower value on their homes, and I feel that is not fair to our <br /> community. I also noticed that our property has almost doubled. I don't understand how the <br /> county assesses the value of these homes. I am asking that you reevaluate our property and get <br /> a fairer value. <br /> Evidence submitted by the county representative: <br /> • Subject property is vacant land with a yard item and the value increased due to land base rate <br /> change for the county-wide revaluation.
