HxGN OnCall® Dispatch Suite

18

Google LLC Android™ devices with OS versions 10.0 or greater (tested using
Samsung Galaxy S9 and Pixel3 XL)
For the servers, use the standard database server and Mobile Server specifications
defined in the "HxGN OnCall Dispatch | Mobile Responder Server" topic. Hexagon highly
recommends that back office communications for Mobile Responder reside on a separate
server than interfaces, but on the same server as Mobile Unit, if installed.
Mobile Responder uses Leaflet for a mobile-friendly interactive map. The base map and
map layers are defined in HxGN OnCall Dispatch | Administrator.
Mobile Responder uses an internet-based tile provider such as Google, Bing, Mapbox,
MapQuest Open, or any custom tile source a customer may have access to. If ESRI
provides a tile source, then the customer could choose to use the custom option. Hexagon
uses an HTTP-based tile source to so that maps are not placed on each device, which
may only have 8 GB of storage.
Certification has been performed on a limited number of devices due to the diversity in the
Android market. Testing has been performed with the platforms and devices listed at the
beginning of this section. While other devices are viable, Hexagon recommends testing
with a single device before purchasing large quantities.
See the Hexagon Customer Support page for a definition of viable.

HxGN OnCall Dispatch Specifications for Video
Responder and Security Guardian Systems
The workstation specifications for a system are dependent on the video system provider
and the security workstations. For example, they may require a specific video card. The
workstation specifications below are provided as a guideline and users should always
check with their video system provider. For the servers, use the standard database server
and communication server specification are defined in th e HxGN OnCall Dispatch
Specifications (on page 7) and the HxGN OnCall Dispatch Specifications for Interface and
Communication Servers (on page 12) topics.
Workstation Components for Video Responder and Security
Guardian
Item Specification
Operating System Genuine Windows 10 Professional, with Media,
64-bit, English
Docusign Envelope ID: 463E937D-8F02-4D22-9EEA-B2B50627D9E0Docusign Envelope ID: DE681D27-7D55-4FB6-8C51-9394D26FBC9EDocusign Envelope ID: 295A5D15-51E9-4D4A-ABF7-42411BB309FA
