Revised 05/25 <br /> <br />4 <br />5. Duration of Services <br /> <br />a. Term. The term of this Agreement shall be from July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026. <br /> <br />b. Scheduling of Services. <br />i) The Provider shall schedule and perform its activities in a timely manner. <br /> <br />ii) Should the County determine that the Provider is behind schedule, it may require <br />the Provider to expedite and accelerate its efforts, including providing additional <br />resources and working overtime, as necessary, to perform its services in accordance <br />with the approved project schedule at no additional cost to the County. <br /> <br />iii) The Commencement Date for the Provider's Basic Services shall be July 1, 2025. <br /> <br />6. Compensation <br /> <br />a. Compensation for Basic Services. Compensation for Basic Services shall include all <br />compensation due the Provider from the County for all services satisfactorily (as <br />determined by the County) performed pursuant to this Agreement. The maximum amount <br />payable for Basic Services shall not exceed Twenty Five Thousand Dollars ($25,000). <br />Payment for satisfactorily performed Basic Services shall become due and payable within <br />thirty (30) days of Provider properly invoicing County. Payment shall be subject to <br />provisions of Section 5(b). <br /> <br />b. For interpretation services only: <br /> <br />i) County will compensate Provider as provided in this agreement for interpretation and <br />translation services at the rate prescribed. Per hour reimbursement will begin at the <br />time the Provider meets with County staff for the appointment and ends at the time <br />the staff and interpreter contact are completed. <br /> <br />There will be a minimum of one (1) hour of service for the first in-person <br />appointment. All subsequent appointments will be paid according to the duration of <br />the scheduled appointment time or the actual appointment duration, whichever is <br />longer. County will pay for a minimum of one (1) hour of service for in-person <br />appointments for clients who do not show up for an appointment, and for those who <br />cancel an appointment with less than 24-hour notice, unless the County is able to <br />schedule another client for the same appointment time. <br /> <br />ii) In the case of an unexpected closing or delayed opening (e.g., inclement weather) of <br />the County Offices when providing interpretation services, the Provider shall not be <br />paid for missed appointments. When possible, the Provider is also asked to help call <br />his/her scheduled clients to inform them of the delay or closing. <br /> <br />iii) Virtual appointments will be governed by the attached Scope of Work. Virtual <br />appointments include telehealth appointments. <br /> <br />iv) The Provider will record the start and finish time worked to the minute.
