This proposal is based on the existing hot water isolation valve <br />being in good working order so the existing hot water loop can be isolated for removal of <br />existing boiler and installation of the new boiler. <br /> <br />All new hot water piping 2" and smaller willl be T&C schedule 40 carbon steel pipe, with <br />screwed fittings of the same materials and weight as the piping in which they are installed. <br /> <br />Brady will furnish and install all pipe, manual valves, and fittings as required to connect Make- <br />up water to the new boiler. This proposal is based on the existing make-up water isolation valve <br />being in good working order so the existing make-up water can be isolated for removal of <br />existing boiler and installation of the new boiler. <br /> <br />Hangers and Supports <br />Brady will furnish and install all pipe hangers and supports as required to support the pipe <br />independently from the boiler. <br /> <br />Electrical <br />Brady will replace existing disconnect, conduit, and conductors that is required for load side <br />electrical service from point of existing disconnect to new boiler. Brady will reuse existing <br />breaker, conduit, and conductors on line side. Disconnect, conduit, and conductors have been <br />sized per the NEC based on the boiler motor HP provided to Brady per the equipment <br />manufacture. <br /> <br />Electrical connection to equipment and motors shall be made with short lengths of flexible <br />"Liquid - Tite" conduit. <br /> <br />All equipment has been selected for 120 volt, 60 hertz, and 3 phase electrical service. <br /> <br />Brady will provide nameplates for identification of all equipment, motor starters, disconnect <br />switches. <br /> <br />Controls <br />Brady excludes any controls work for this project, including connecting the boiler to a front end <br />energy management system, programming, and graphic up-grade. <br /> <br />Pipe Insulation <br />All hot water piping will be insulated to match existing. <br /> <br />Crane and Rigging <br />Brady will furnish all crane, rigging and trucking as needed for this project. <br /> <br />Upon receipt of equipment on the job site, Brady will inspect the unit for possible damage <br />during transit. This will include an inspection of unit exterior, all doors, access panels and <br />openings.
