9 <br /> Orange County YASI Summary Observations: FY 2023-2024 <br /> The overall YASI summary data is based on 113 individual youth who were assessed during the fiscal <br /> year 2023-2024 coming to the attention of Court Services. <br /> Elevated Risk and Needs: <br /> • 70%of youth have a moderate to high risk level which is 12% higher than the state rate. <br /> • 70%of youth have a moderate to high needs level which is 24% higher than the state rate. <br /> Legal History Domain <br /> • 58%of youth have prior felonies which is 23% higher than the state. <br /> • 57%of youth have a person crime which is 15%higher than the state. <br /> • 27%of youth have a crime involving a weapon which is 10% higher than the state. <br /> Family Domain <br /> • 27%of youth have a runaway history which is 6% higher than state. <br /> • 25%of youth have inadequate supervision at home which is 8% higher than the state. <br /> School Domain <br /> • 46%of youth have five or more unexcused absences which is 25% higher than the state. <br /> • 37%of youth are failing most of their classes which is 22% higher than the state. <br /> Community and Peers Domain <br /> • 63%of youth have a negative/delinquent peer influence which is 16% higher than the state. <br /> Alcohol and Drugs Domain <br /> • 49%of youth have alcohol/drug use which is 10% higher than the state. <br /> • 78%of these youth have not received any alcohol/drug use treatment. <br /> Mental Health Domain <br /> • Youth in Orange are 8% higher than the state to have history of physical abuse. <br /> • Youth in Orange are 6% higher than the state to be a victim of physical assault. <br /> • Youth in Orange are 12% higher than the state to have disrupted function under use. <br /> Part II.
