Judge Joal Broun motioned for minutes to <br /> be approved and was seconded by Gayane Chambless. Motion passed unanimously. <br /> JCPC Business <br /> Nominating Committee: Volunteers are needed to serve on the nominating committee. The purpose of <br /> this committee is to receive JCPC officer nominations for Chair and Vice Chair and to present the slate of <br /> officers to the full council. Anyone interested in serving on this committee should inform Caraina. <br /> FY24-25 Meeting Calendar and Workplace Calendar—All of the meetings will be hybrid with the in- <br /> person location being held at Hillsborough DSS. Please add these dates to your calendar. The Workplan <br /> Calendar outlines the tasks and responsibilities of the JCPC throughout the year along with due dates. <br /> Primary responsibilities are related to evaluation, monitoring, and funding. <br /> Conflict of Interest Forms—Please complete the Conflict-of-Interest form and return to Caraina. All <br /> council members are required to complete this annually. Paper forms are being passed around for those in <br /> person and were also emailed for those who are attending virtually. <br /> Committee Sign-Up—Committees are Assessment (Formerly Risk and Needs), Funding, Monitoring, By- <br /> laws, Publicity and RED. <br /> • Assessment (Formerly Risk and Needs): Gayane Chambless, Paul Bell; need more volunteers and a <br /> chair. <br /> • Funding: Kysha Thompson; need more volunteers and a chair. <br /> • Monitoring: need volunteers and a chair. <br /> • By-laws: need volunteers and a chair. <br /> • Publicity: need volunteers and a chair. <br /> • RED: Lateef Mitchell; need more volunteers and a chair. <br />
