Pharmacy services enabled the Health Department to provide clinical <br />services to over 5,000 patients seen in one of the department's clinical services, The <br />pharmacist has also assisted in recruiting and training volunteer pharmacists for emergency <br />responses. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: The contract for FY 2004-2005 includes a 2 ''/2% increase over the <br />current year for a total of $10,540 per year or approximately $31 per hour for on-site pharmacy <br />services for approximately 334 hours of on-site pharmacy services.. The $10,540 is part of the <br />recommended Health Department budget. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board approve the contract <br />renewal and authorize the Chair to sign, pending the approval of the 2004-2005 budget and <br />county attorney review. <br />
