Minutes of the Board of County Commissioners <br />July 7, 1965 <br />°"s° ?UunTY hoard of Commissioners met in adjourned session on Wednesday, July 7, 1965, <br />7:00 o'clock P.M., in the 0ommissioners Room in the Courthouse in Hillsborough, N. C. <br />Members present: Chairman Harvey D. Bennett, Commissioners Gordon H. Cleveland, William C. <br />Ray, Henry S. Walker and Carl M. Smith. <br />Members absent: None. <br />The purpose of this meeting was to consider _fu rther the proposed 1965-1966 budget. <br />Commissioner Ray submitted a petition for paving county road #1308 in Cheeks Township. The <br />IIoa ti approved this petition and directed the Clerk to forward same to the State Highway Commission. <br />decisions: <br />After a lengthy discussion of all facets of the proposed budget the Hoard made the following <br />1. That the school current expense allotment would be continued at $41 per student. <br />2.
