DOOR HARDWARE 087100-1 <br />Orange County Health Department Improvements Smith Sinnett / 2024008 <br />Hillsborough, NC Orange County Asset Management Services <br />SECTION 08 71 00 DOOR HARDWARE <br />PART 1 - GENERAL <br />1.01 RELATED DOCUMENTS <br />A.Drawings and general provisions of the Contract, including General and Supplementary <br />Conditions and Division 01 Specification Sections, apply to this Section. <br />1.02 SUMMARY <br />A.Section includes: <br />1.Mechanical and electrified door hardware for: <br />a.Swinging doors. <br />2.Electronic access control system components, including: <br />a.Electronic access control devices. <br />3.Field verification, preparation and modification of existing doors and frames to receive new <br />door hardware. <br />4.The intent of the hardware specification is to specify the hardware for interior and exterior doors, <br />and to establish a type, continuity, and standard of quality.
